Influence of comedy
Looking back it is comedians who have comforted me when I grow up and gave me important life lessons. I credit Jon Stewart for my academic interest; Stephen Colbert for how to live with faith and tolerance; Simon Amstell for knowing the world is more materialistic than spiritual and that I should focus on reality; Ricky Gervais for standing by my real opinions; and finally, Dylan Moran for the beauty of English language. Their art have comforted my and understood me the way reality and other media types couldn’t have. Plus, all of them taught me to be hard working and determined on my way to my career dreams. I don’t know where I’d be without them in my life during my period of passage. Thanks 🙏
